What questions do you carry with you?
Most of us operate on a day-to-day level with many unspoken questions — unconsciously pondering who we are, what we're doing and where we're headed.
These questions tend to carry more weight the further into life we get:
"Who do I need to become to create the life I want?"
"If I know what I need to do, then why am I not doing it?"
"Do I actually want what I say I want?"
"Is lasting change really possible?"
Cognitive behavioral therapy highlights how your mind will find an answer to whatever question you feed it (because the brain is built to problem-solve).
This means your world is the living expression of the questions you ask yourself.
If you ask, "Why do I keep failing?" or "What is wrong with me?" your brain will supply a not-so-great answer.
If you instead ask, "What am I not seeing here?" or "What is the most useful thought I could have right now?" your brain will retrieve a more valuable answer.
The Better Questions podcast creates wide-open conversations so that no one has to carry their questions alone.
We'll explore the psychological motivators behind decision-making, and how to design a creative life so you can move from a place of knowing to a place of doing.
Apply the answers you hear in each episode to your daily life and, little by little, you'll ask your way to the life you want.
